Poor QC, Unclear Instructions, Some Assembly Requi

This expansion pack is supposed to make the game go faster. I played this with my fiancé, hoping for a quick, fun game as it was late. This wasn't the case, at least not with 2 people. The instructions aren't very clear and leave you with a lot of questions, resulting in having to make agreed upon house rules. I was also a little annoyed that assembly was required. You have to put tiny stickers on blank dice, and put together additional pieces. During the gameplay, we discovered that there were issues with our parts. The instructions say when you roll the chance die to take the amount of corruption cards shown on the die. There are no numbers on the die, so we were going off of the number on the regular dice, until we realized that if playing with several people you'd run out of cards really quickly since you could get up to 12 cards per roll. This made me look closer at the instructions, and I noticed the image on the instructions show that one of the stickers is supposed to have a number 2 on it. None of the stickers provided to me had any numbers. I did some googling and found that people have different variations of these stickers, so it seems there is some quality control issues. We ended up agreeing that we'd just take 1 card if you landed on on one of card drawing sides, because the corruption cards give a huge advantage and if you have a big pile of them the advantage you get is far too great. With only 2 people playing, all of the corruption is targeted at each other, which makes the game a bit unfair and one of us was constantly in jail, so it felt like there wasn't much traveling around the board. We ended up with so much money that we could tell the game was going to take forever, and we gave up after 3 hours. The corruption cards are fun and they do put an interesting spin on the game, but I definitely wouldn't recommend playing with only 1 other person unless you want to play forever and really end up hating each other even moreso than the regular game makes you hate each other. We won't be using this expansion pack again until we have at least 4 players. I did receive this in exchange for my honest opinion.

I was a little skeptical, adding a new addition to our classic Monopoly game. Though after reading the instructions and incorporating it into gameplay, it really worked well and fixed one of the week points of classic monopoly. Which is to speed things up. I highly recommend taking a look at this accessory pack.

I haven't had to chance to use this part of the game but my kids have and they love it. They want to play it all the time. Just as great as the regular game.

I absolutely love this new addition to the original game! I love how you can take it anywhere because it’s a small package. Getting all assembled and ready to play is pretty easy and fast. I love you he new cards and new jail rules. Makes it a bit more exciting! I want to get the other games too!

The Go to Jail mechanic in Monopoly is one of the game’s most iconic and sometimes frustrating elements. Landing on the “Go to Jail” space or drawing the wrong Chance or Community Chest card sends a player directly to jail, where they must either roll doubles, pay a fine, or use a Get Out of Jail Free card to escape. Pros: • Strategic Depth: Being in jail can be beneficial in the later game when properties are heavily developed, as it lets you avoid landing on costly spaces. • Balance Mechanic: It adds randomness and an obstacle to fast-moving players. • Tension & Drama: It creates suspense when rolling to escape and changes the flow of the game. Cons: • Frustrating Early Game: Getting stuck in jail early on can hurt property acquisition. • Randomness Factor: Some players feel it’s too luck-based rather than skill-based. • Can Stall Gameplay: If multiple players are stuck, turns can slow down. Overall, the Go to Jail rule is a classic but divisive feature—sometimes it helps, sometimes it ruins a strategy.

Fun edition to a great game!!

I just got the Monopoly Go to Jail Expansion Pack today, and after playing it for the first time with my family, I’m seriously impressed! This add-on twists the classic game by making Jail a hotspot—landing there let me grab Corruption cards that turned me into a sneaky property baron, screwing over my brother with a sly hotel grab on Baltic Avenue. It ran a bit long once my sister started hoarding Super Corruption cards in Super Jail, but the chaos and laughs were worth it—definitely a fresh spin that’s got me plotting my next dirty win! Overall this is a great twist to an amazing classic board game.

The chaos and confusion you will need for you Mono

Monopoly: Go to Jail expansion? Oh boy, it's like the regular game but with more ways to get stuck in jail. You think you’re winning, then bam, you're thrown into jail with no way out except a get-out-of-jail card you’ll never draw. The rules are a bit confusing (of course), and it just adds more chaos to an already chaotic game. But, hey, at least the box is sturdy enough to survive your frustration as you try to figure out if you’re stuck for three turns or just one. Overall, it's Monopoly, but with extra “oops, I’m trapped” moments.

I love that these have their own seperate pack. I think having this many of the cards makes for a more intense and fun game! It also helps keep everything organized.
