As the "old" monopoly experts at first we really struggled to get our head around this travel version. But it turned out to be one of the most fun games we've ever played! It is so easy to go bankrupt, it's hilarious. The moving pieces here are self-inking stamps which are used to mark the board and some cards. It's easy to clean the ink off the glossy paper bit, but impossible to remove it from the cards, so we improvised with writing down "missions" on a piece of paper instead. We also found the monopoly monies too tiny to handle properly - they are difficult to grab and can easily get lost. That aside, it's a fun game for all - young children and adults.
We love this Travel World addition of Monopoly, great fun for all the family, with a few added extras, love the different destinations and its a change from the original. Would recommend to friends and family
This New Monopoly Travel edition is perfect for young kids. They will get to learn about new places around the world, along with facts and a little bit about the place/country.
The whole game concept is the same, although a bit relaxed than traditional monopoly. So don't worry parents, here no one will be a sore loser!
The game money is rather small I feel. They are like little tokens so easy to misplace or lose them over time. It should come with a storage case or something I feel as young kids may lose them. We kept ours in a little tub for ease.
Kids and us adults loved playing it. The idea of stamping your owned place is a new concept and a very good idea. In all the game was very interactive, kept the kids engaged throughout the whole game and no one lost their minds, which is a bonus!
Great for adults too as an office game, during travels or just with friends. I would recommend it. It can be played again and again!
This is a really fun alternative to the original monopoly. It’s interesting to learn where different landmarks are around the world and read the information on the back of the destination cards.
I like that you can’t go bankrupt in this game so no one is out until there is a winner. The instructions are straight forward and easy to follow. The only thing I don’t like is the money - tiny card pieces that are fiddly and all get mixed up in the box as there’s no way to keep them separate. A great game for all the family.
This new version of the game has all the nostalgia of the original but who’s bit of a modern twist. The stamp and go concept it great and also means there is less risks of loosing any bits like the original game. Gave hours of fun.
Who doesn't love a game of monopoly? Well this is another diversion from your class London version which most of us familiar with. It's a great game with new cities and places to see. As usual monopoly brings out the best in the players when one loses!
I thought we could have a go at this monopoly as we have tried a few of the different ones before and the kids love it especially using the stamps to stamp the places. We all had fun playing this game.
You can always rely on monopoly to get the family together. We love playing the other monopoly board games and this one is no different. I'm happy to keep playing just as long as the kids aren't beating me!!!
