Wish It Did More

I really like the fact that this lightsaber can extend really long, but I was hoping that it did more. My daughter had a blast running around the house with it and kept making her own sound effects. I wish that this saber made sounds, but it was still fun to play with.
Our grandson picked this out! He loves that he is able to put it together and use it to have lightsaber duels with his uncle. It was easy for him to figure out how to connect the pieces, which fit nicely in his hands. He is already looking into getting more to make different combinations!
I received the Star Wars Lightsaber Forge Anakin Skywalker Lightsaber for my daughter and husband to play with. My husband is obsessed with Star Wars so he was actually the one who picked this out. The toy itself is colorful and sturdy however we thought it was light up- which it is not. The toy comes boxed in a few pieces: the blade, cap, cover, and core. This allows you to assemble your Lightsaber for pretend duels which are easily snapped together. The pieces are compatible across the entire Star Wars Lightsaber Forge line. The only downside is how it doesn’t light up. We were really looking forward to that however we do appreciate the customization options.
Love the Star Wars Lighsaber Forge Anakin Skywalker. My son loves to role-play with it. It is durable enough to swing around and of tough usage. Like the colors and design of it. It is easy to flick open and to collapse.
My little guys eyes lit up when he saw the Star Wars Lightsaber Forge Anakin Skywalker Lightsaber. He couldn't wait to rip open the box. He almost couldn't contain his excitement. Assembly was really very easy, it came with instructions but they weren't nessessary. The handle is perfect for his little hands. We are so happy with this toy.
I have an almost 5 and a 3.5 year old and the initial thought of a sword toy was exciting for them but they could not retract the lightsaber. It was very easy to flick their arm and for it to fly out but they had me retract it each and every time they wanted it back in their belt. The lightsaber does not light up or have any sound which is okay at this age with me. This helps with their imaginations and it is fun to hear the action sounds they make up. The handle could be a small or large version. We stuck with the small one because it fit their hands fairly well. At the same time the handle was a bit to thick for their toddler size hands so it was awkward for them to hold and swing it around.
So this was cool because it’s absolutely reminiscent of the 90s toys we had for the Star Wars trilogy released in that decade; however it has no option for sounds or lights? Kinda lame. Other than that easy assembly. Easy to add on and take apart. But lacking excitement of the sounds and lights
This Star Wars Lightsaber toy is alot of fun for the whole family. It comes as four separate pieces that can be swapped out with other lightsabers from different characters from the movie. This also makes them easy to break down and store in smaller spaces or in suitcases for sleepovers!
