Fun and lots of thinking

A immersive experience from start to finish. The attention to detail in both the storyline and the puzzles is outstanding. Each clue is cleverly crafted to keep you engaged and challenged. A lot of mystery and excitement. Whether you're a seasoned escape room enthusiast or a newbie, this game is sure to provide hours of thrilling entertainment. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a truly unforgettable gaming. Only downside is the board itself is not very durable like other board games, easy to assembly but directions are a lot to read.

My boys (8 and 12) and I played the Clue Worlds Fair game, it took a bit to set it up and figure out how to play it but once we did, it was a lot of fun. Switched up a bit from the original Clue game which is also fun

Modern twist on a classic

My kids loved this game, it’s a futuristic inspired version of the original which we love as well. The game itself is fantastic and easy to learn. One downside is the quality, it feels much thinner than the original version and I don’t imagine this lasting decades like my old boardgames but would still rate it 5 stars based on the gameplay. Just have to be more careful when storing and playing.

I love the OG Clue, so I guess I had high expectations. This game has potential, but man is it wordy. That’s not my style of game, so I didn’t care for where it was going (we didn’t finish).

Very different from the original game

This game is very different from the original it has an escape room concept. It can be fun if you are into those kinds of games. You have puzzle and narrative cards with this game. There is also puzzle hints in the instruction booklet.

It seems fun but I didn’t get it one bit. It’s very confusing. My kids were trying to play it and the same thing we couldn’t figure it out. I have to look into in.

Game

This game is cute. I love the packaging. The game board is in pieces and must be pieced together. I don’t like that at all. The pieces are extremely thin like poster board. It moves during game play. Aggravating. My children didn’t enjoy the game unfortunately. They’re older teens and a preteen found it too long and too difficult to enjoy. For the right people this game would be a hit but it’s not for this family. We just enjoy more traditional board games I guess. I’ve never been a fan of any Clue game though. I’ve always found them difficult.

This one time solve mystery game is fun for the whole family. The board is dynamic so younger participants may need a little help. If you like a game you have to use your thinking skills for this is for you.

Perfect for puzzle solving lovers!

As a family that loves board games, we found "Clue Escape: The World’s Fair" to be a great addition to our collection. The instructions were very clear, making it easy to understand the gameplay. We appreciated the rich story, which added depth and engagement. It is important to note that kids should enjoy reading and solving puzzles to fully appreciate the game; but if they don’t, those are great skills that kids can learn at any time and it will help in their development! The game is intended for kids over the age of 10, but if your kid loves reading, puzzle solving with numbers and logical thinking, this is just going to be perfect! The game design ensures that every answer leads logically to the next card, making progression straightforward. Additionally, the manual provides hints for every part of the game if you get stuck. The only downside is its lack of replayability; once you've completed the game, there isn't much incentive to play it again. Good news is the fun lasts for about 2 hours. Overall, a great adventure for kids, teens and the whole family!

Has some downfalls

hollyt61

So this was a little different from the old school clue games. You didn’t pick out who, what and where and I think that’s where the downfall comes from. The materials were great, and the puzzles were complex without being overly hard. I have 3 boys and they were all engaged with the story within the game. It had some similarities with choose your own adventure, but again there is a downside. After you play the game and figure out who, what and where; there’s no way to change it and to play again. The story is what it is. Why would we play again if we already figured it out? It seems single serving in nature. I wish we could trade it in for another game after we’ve completed it

Would be a fun game…

This game was okay. Very hard to understand and play even for adults. The box says ages 10+ but my 10 year old wanted nothing to do with it because it was too confusing. Should definitely have better directions on how to play.

Fun game—but is a one-time solve

I like the original Clue and this is a fun, creative twist on the game that is more like an Escape Room. I actually played a children’s escape room game with my son last week and while it was fun, the set up was very complicated. This has a lot of instructions but is logical and explained clearly and doesn’t require hiding cards (which was a pain in the other game). I like that you can play with 1-6 people but unfortunately there are not different endings so you can only play once. Definitely a game to play and give away or pass on to a relative or friend. It is for ages ten and up—I recommend it for tweens and above who like solving puzzles, escape rooms and board games.
