Hydro Pods Pirates Starter Pack Battle Toy, Water Activated Surprise Toys for Kids

The concept behind this is kinda cute, but there's not much to it. It was almost impossible to knock the ring off the top, and then when you do, the water comes out, and then you're done. You have to refill and start all over. It's kinda messy and kinda pointless. Honestly, I wouldn't buy this. It's seems like a waste of money. The kids were amused for two minutes then started shooting the rings at the cats & now they're lost.

It’s just ok… the pod itself is cute with the different characters you can collect. The packaging was nice and colorful. But the game idea is honestly boring. Maybe playing against someone would be more fun since this is a starter pack and only came with one. It might be better had they gave a set of two in the starter pack.

My 3 and 5 year old sons had a blast using the included launcher to fire rings and try to hit the pirate pod to sink the toy. Watching the pod sink when struck by the rings was endlessly entertaining for them, and they spent hours perfecting their aim. It is difficult to hit so it takes time to get it down.

It's a cute toy it was easy to set up easy to use instructions are simple the concept is simple I just couldn't get my child to play with this I tried it myself and I can understand the lack of attention for this toy.

It’s fun for children but at the time of filling it with water it’s covered it’s a little difficult to fill it but they like to shoot and that the water comes out it’s a good quality toy it’s not dangerous it’s very versatile and durable.

Safe fun for demetri at the pool and beach he loves it! He came in and enjoyed it again! The packaging is ready easy and you can take these everywhere!

It's cute but my kids did not care for it. Not enough bang for your buck I suppose. Easy to understand and do but not much fun for them to have but that may just be my kids.

It’s a toy so my son was excited but he simply played with it for 10 mins and was done. Maybe if you have a set or more kids to play with it’s more fun but the starter kit is okay

Hasbro Hydro Pods Starter pack is a great way to have a little water fun. Fill the pods with clean water then add the target to the top. Use the little disc to knock the target off first one to hit the target and drain the water wins. Good for ages 6 and up.

Unfortunately did not work the way we expected it to. The launcher did not have enough power to knock the piece off to let the water out. Was kind of a dud.. actual toy seems to be okay quality and well made.

My daughter had a lot of fun with this toy. Even though she is a little younger, she is very smart and managed to understand very well how the game works. She spent hours trying to hit the target, and gave us a good laugh and a lot of fun. The toy is sturdy, easy to assemble and works well. She loved it and could definitely recommend this toy to both boys and girls.

Great little durable toy for boys with loads of fun !!! It is safe and easy to use!! My kiddos have made up pool games with it . Definitely a fun little pool toy !!

This Hydro pod game is so cute. I like that. It takes a spin on the original dunking game. You can collect different characters to sync and my kids really enjoyed playing with it. It’s a great way to play with water, but keep your area clean because it has a little tray to catch all the water once the little character and sunken.

This toy is made of hard plastic, giving it a good chance to entertain a child for an extensive time. The capsule is somewhat small, which is good for instructions to include age appropriate warning. Other than that, I can see a child having fun with this toy for 30-1 hour depending if another child plays, allowing me to make it more exciting.

It’s a little smaller than I thought it would be but it’s cute. It teaches skill and coordination, plus it’s super fun to play with. It’s easy to put together and it’s pretty durable despite how many times it was knocked off the table. Recommend

This HydroPods game is pretty cool! It is easy enough for kids to do and refill on their own to play over and over again. It is compact in size but fun to bring with you where there is a group of kids.

A compact, simple, and fun toy! It's easy to set up with just a little bit of water. We thought at first it would be kind of silly but once we started playing it was actually fun and more challenging than expected to hit the target. The goal is to release the ring and hit the plug off the small cylinder piece that contains water. When successful, the plug flies off and the water is released, then the figure inside it discends along with the water. I thought it'd make a mess as it involves water but surprisingly mess-free. A big plus for moms!

I received a Hydro Pods Pirates Starter pack from Influenster in exchange for my honest review and my granddaughter absolutely loves to play with it. Now she wants more of the other sets. She plays with it for hours. there is a lot of different ideas and uses her imagination in a growing fashion.

This was a very interesting toy for my son. He played with it for a few minutes but after that he was done. He liked it, it just didn’t keep him busy for long.

This is a pretty neat and entertaining toy for my boys to play with. I really have never heard of them before so it was ki da confusing at first. My son had to look up how to play qith it and for a starter pack, that is not good. This is one of the reasons I removed a star. It is also small so I don't think it is safe for small kids. All together it is a stranger toy.

This toy is pretty cool but it does get messy with water. Luckily it's only water but it can be lots of fun for a pre teen or teen. My kids are a little young but they're still having fun and fighting over it ! Will definitely have to find another so they can play together but they're taking turns right now. The instructions were clear and easy to put together. You keep the capsule submerged in water while you put the plug in the top then you put the ring in the launcher until it clicks. You aim and push the little handles together and it launches. Once you're able to hit the yellow plug, the water falls out into the tray then you repeat the process. It is a little tricky but that makes it fun! I think it's pretty safe. If you do have younger kids just make sure they don't put the pieces in their mouth but other than that, there's nothing that will hurt them and nice that you don't need batteries!

This toy is definitely high quality and fun for a wide range of ages!. My nephew was so excited when I gave it to him because he loves pirates. I think this would be a great toy to give as a gift, especially if you get multiple. It’s a fun activity and easy to play with!

This was a very dumb toy. No matter how many times we hit the top target it would not fall off. We threw it in the garbage right away and didn’t even show it to our kid.

I just reviewed the hydro blaster toy, and I wasn't impressed. I call these kinda toys "throw away" toys cause if you lose one piece you can't play with it anymore. It was messy and not much fun for the kid.
