Good strategic thinking

I will need to play this a few times to grasp the whole concept of this game. The graphics are great! I get confused when trying to figure out how to add junk tiles to the neighborhood and with the scoring. If you’re not one to care who wins and just want to strategize then this is a decent game. The containers are labeled wonderfully to keep the sets separated.

This game seems perfect for two to four people to play for more than 35 minutes of gameplay, great graphics, a very resistant material to bring it to life.

If you enjoy games like Terraforming Mars, Everdell, or Scythe, this could be a great addition to your collection. The theme of rebuilding society post-collapse is compelling, and the artwork alone makes it an attractive purchase. However, if you prefer simpler, quicker games, this might require a learning curve. Looking forward to seeing how the mechanics play out!

This game life in Reterra was hard to understand. But has a cool art style. I love the little details it has. The quality is amazing. My 14 year old and my 11 year old had a hard time with this game due to not understanding how to properly play it. But it’s a cute game. Just not easy.

This is a great game for kids 10 and up. It’s perfect for 2 to 4 people and really is different every single time. I love that. It allows individuality and lets people build their own community from scratch with diverse terrain, reclaimed buildings and relics from the past to make a new home and life.this is an educational and positive board game!

Life in Reterra is a fun game for the whole family. (10 & up) It’s a strategy based game where you’re rebuilding the community after an apocalypse. It involves tile laying and has a lot of versatility. You can play with 2-4 players. I’ve played with just my husband and with a group - both ways were fun! It’s easy to learn or teach to new players. It has a great instruction book to help. The game tiles and cards are high quality. I love the little wood tokens. And it’s pretty addictive. Once you play one game, you want to play again and again. Can’t wait for more game nights!

I was given this product in exchange for my honest opinion. This game is about rebuilding a community. I played with my niece (8) and nephew (10). I was fun but not overly exciting. The game board and pieces are made well. The age recommendation is 10+.

Super fun enthralling game to play, keeps the children on edge. This is the monopoly of our time! Small pieces so ensure the age limit is who plays! The game board can take a beating for sure it’s extremely durable!

While the game looked super cool and interesting it’s definitely not for small children. It’s more complicated then their little self’s can understand.

Great 2-4 player building game with many options

Life in Reterra is very fun to play. It’s always great to find a 2 player game I can play with the wife without having to invite people over. We played the player set 1 game setup from the video and book instructions but there was an option to use set 2 and 3. The game ended when each player had 4x4 tiles. It was also easy to score and the scoring pad provided instructions. The whole set up, learning to play and playing the game took about an hour. The game tiles and cards are high quality and very durable. I feel confident that I could play this game with more people and teach them how to play too.

Very well packaged and great art and details on all the game pieces. Mix of small and large pieces and if you have little ones that like to remove the pieces from the cardboard, they will be entertained. Overall fun game.

Entertaining game for the family

We played this game several times before we felt more comfortable with the rules. The game tiles are on strong board backers. The instructions booklet is printed on premium paper which I absolutely love how durable it is since we used it often to reference how to play. The game offers several game sets which you can add or mix match to change up the themes and how you earn points. I especially appreciate how each game set comes with its own containers to keep things organized. Huge plus! My only recommendation would be to add a grid sheet for each player as they build out their 4x4 communities. This would keep the tiles from moving around. That would have been the icing on the game set!

A fun game that can be played in 30 minutes

My kids had a lot of fun playing this game. It wasn't too confusing getting it set up, and the game itself took around 30 minutes. It's short enough that you don't have to dedicate a whole day to play it. Once you understand the rules, there are three different sets of cards. You can use the next sets to make it more complicated. I received this product in exchange for my review.

This game is well packaged, put together and explained. I do think that it is a little advanced for a 10+ age range. Was a little difficult the first time playing though.

Fun game, but setup and rules are a little conplicated.

I played this with my husband and 2 children (ages 12 and 14). The setup and getting the rules down is a bit much for the first time playing, but we all agreed we wanted to play it again. Honestly, we missed one rule until halfway through. There was also a rule that seemed unclear in the book, but we could agree to do it one way or another going forward. Overall, this was a fun game that will be more fun to play the 2nd time.

This was a relaxing game to play! I have played Kingdomino and the game play felt similar. It was nice to have a set-up board labeled for different amounts of players. I also liked the individual boxes for the decks. My kids have lots of gameboard experience, so my 7 year old played independently. I enjoyed the versatility and the calm game play. The directions were clear and had very good pictures.

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. Life In Reterra is a game in which the object is to build a community and attract inhabitants. The game is for ages 10 and above and for 2 to 4 players. As with most games, there is a bit of set up involved, which included removing plastic wrapping, punching out tiles and sorting cards and tiles into their respective tray. The game is made of good quality materials and looks like it will last a long time.

At first it seemed like a complicated game. A lot of rules to try and follow but once you get the hang of it, it is a great strategy game that has you thinking 10 different ways. A game that is based on rebuilding from an apocalyptic state you build a 4x4 terrain with different types of buildings. It depends on what style you are playing it can be a battle of grow or ruin. Played back to back games with the wife and kid and we had loads of fun. I still think my daughter cheated being she beat us the first time.
