Nerf Pro Gelfire Legion Blaster, 5000 Gelfire Rounds, 130 Round Hopper, Eyewear

I was given this to review by TryIt Sampling. What I received was a Nerf Pro GelFire Legion toy gun that shoots gel pellets. I have seen this toy a lot on social media and was very interested in it and was so glad I got the chance to review it. The toy comes fully equipped with a packet of 5000 gel “rounds”. They come in a little packet and they look like teeny little beads. You add these “rounds” into a container of clean tapwater. The instructions state to use at least half a gallon/2 L of water per 5000 “rounds”. Once they are hydrated and have grown in size, which is not very big at all, you place them in the little plastic hopper and screw that hopper into the top of the gun and kids are ready to play. The kids here loved it. It is winter here and we had a big snowstorm and the kids played outside with it and they had a ton of fun. I loved it because there was absolutely no cleanup needed and the kids got a lot of fresh air and exercise. It was great to get them away from the screens. Comes with excellent instructions and it also comes with a pair of safety goggles. So that’s an extra bonus. I’ve already ordered some extra packages of the plastic pellets so the kids can continue their play. This is truly a great toy for the kids to get them outside of the house.

The gun is so fun to use. A good way to enjoy the day with teen kids. Great bonding experience. Definitely recommend for families with older kids. It works great and easy to set up. The wait time for pellets is time consuming but worth the wait. My kids loved playing with it. The gun is really awesome and also has a safety feature. The colors are great too.

These things are great! As a family we plan friendly battles with the gel blasters! This design is one of the better ones! The beads don’t jam and holds just enough for a good round of fun! The colors are bright and easy to assemble. Always remember the safety gear, goggles or safety glasses and pads. Enjoy some time outside with your kids and have fun!

I absolutely love these they are so nice and so much fun. I don’t recommend playing inside with these but outside it’s a blast! These are pretty cool and different my little nieces and nephews love joining in on the fun and playing with the nerf blaster. It’s a thing for the whole family no matter what age they are. Will be purchasing some more for family members in the future.

I love that this is from Nerf first of all, I have bought their products for years. It is easy to use, has lots of rounds included, and was fought over when we opened the package. We need about 4 more to start a total family war! This is light weight enough so anyone can use it, even the smallest of our group, I know I can find replacement rounds since this brand is sold virtually everywhere.

I got this for my nephew and he absolutely loves it! The gel beads are simple to hydrate and only takes about two to three hours to expand. I love that the set comes with safety glasses (because safety first!) My nephew loves setting up bottles and cans for target practice. The nerf blaster itself has a safety on it and even an indicator on the top so you know if it’s cocked or not.

I was so excited to try this Gelfire out but it was kind of a disappointment. First of all you can’t use it right away upon opening. Which I knew already but still a bummer. Second there is no “rapid fire” like it speaks of. You hold down the trigger and pull back for every shot. That’s what they consider rapid fire. The slide is hard to pull back even for a grown adult. What I did like is that these came with safety glasses for the user. It was well packaged. It would be nice is if the gel fire beads came in some other packaging so you can close the package after opening. Overall the product is okay.
