Nerf Pro Sender

A message to the moms out there - this thing is NO JOKE. My 14 year old tried it and ran to me to tell me how legit it is. This thing could take out an eye!! It is powerful!! When they say 14+ they are serious! That being said, my son is old enough to handle it and he and his friends think it is awesome. 14 year old boy review “this thing is freakin awesome! It hurts to get hit, like paintball! So fun!.” It’s a great gift for older kids that like to be active!

Thank you to Influenster and Hasbro for letting me try this Nerf gun in exchange for my honest review. This Pro Sender is now joke. Before using I found that it takes 8 AA batteries. We only use rechargeable batteries, so I made sure they were all freshly charged before installing. Once the batteries were in, we loaded up the magazine. It is only supposed to hold 15 bullets. I was easily able to fit more than that, but removed them to not cause any problems. We set up some foam targets on the deck railing and took turns shooting. When we first turned it on to shoot we were startled by how loud it is. Turns out that my kids have horrible aim, and with how fast those bullets fly, they went across the yard, through the trees, and we lost some in the park. Or maybe in the tree. I was able to hit the target, but it was so fast, the target fell down, and the bullet shot back at us and hit my daughter in the shoulder. My oldest didn’t believe how hard the gun would shoot and asked his sister to shoot him in the back. The picture with pink mark is being shot from about ten feet away.

This Nerf Pro gun set is great. My youngest son had so much fun playing with this toy. He would set up targets and then use all the nerf bullets. It’s also very safe and easy to use. I even found myself as an adult playing with it. We even got another one just to challenge each other with it. This product is a great family toy that doesn’t discriminate against how old you are. I love how fast the bullets come out. Such a great product. I will definitely recommend to all my family and friends.

This Nerf Gun exceeded all the expectations that I had. For me, Nerf guns were always something that younger kids use, for at some point it just got a bit boring when the darts would only shoot at 1 foot per second and you could literally just walk out of the way. That's why, after some time, most people transition to games like Paintball and Airsoft. However, having been to multiple Paintball games, blowing a fortune on renting the field and equipment always puts somewhat of a damper on the experience. But, this Nerf gun doesn't only look like it's made from alien technology (something my kids really liked about it), I think it actually IS made by aliens. I have never seen a more powerful Nerf gun in my life. The new, smaller darts travel A LOT faster and pack a much bigger punch than any of the traditional Nerf darts. Getting shot at a close range, I genuinely could not tell the difference between that and paintballs. Sure, a paintball gun could probably shoot farther, but at a closer range it hurts just as much! So, I suppose don't get this gun if you're looking for a soft fight, but I believe that this could change Nerf's market from young kids to teenagers, and even adults. Why spend half a thousand on a game of paintball, when you can buy a few of these guns and get close to the same experience? Overall, the design of the gun is really nice, it goes with that alien theme that I mentioned, and it is quite easy to use. I'd like for there to be more storage in the magazine, though, but that might make it a bit too overpowered :)

My kids 14 and 15 love this nerf gun! They have been playing with it since we received it! It very powerful! The safety lock and the trigger are easy to press!

Nerf guns are the best way for kids of all genders and ages to have intense fun while still being safe ! Nerf has always found new designs that keep the interest of kids and consumers. They are great for the price and will last even the roughest kids a very long time !!

The Pro Sender is made of solid, durable plastic that feels like it can withstand a lot of wear. Its comfortable to hold and it isn’t too heavy. It came with a nice amount of darts at no extra cost.
