My son has enjoyed this. He loves rubix cubes and this is similar yet different. It’s a nice twist to the original and allows for hours of fun trying to solve.

This sphere is fun and entertaining, it is actually fairly challenging but not frustrating. The turning mechanism isn’t the smoothest, so if you are a cuber, you will be left wanting.

Small but mighty fun

Love that this is a compact toy and portable. It is similar to a Rubik’s cube type of game in that memory and matching are the main components. I’m happy to have a non-electronic toy without tiny pieces (!) for my 8 year old who likes to fidget.

A whole new challenge

When I originally saw this product, I thought it was just another rubik's cube variation. I'm happy to say I was very wrong. The way you turn it changes the path of the pegs so it becomes a whole new challenge to solve. I appreciate the complexity of it, and honestly, it's something I, myself, could fiddle with for long periods of time like my son has. Turning it is just one way to help solve it. You also need to move the pegs along and line them up perfectly. The whole unit itself is sturdy and well made. I highly recommend it.

This is rubix cube on steroids... After mixing up the colors I was not able to successfully put it back in order. I am sure there is someone out there that can. But it ain't me. I figure I will take it to the fire station and let them try it in their down time.

I received this product from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. My grandson likes the toy. It’s like a modern version of a Rubix Cube but is also a fidget spinner as well

The new rubix cube?

This much be the new rubix cube. My kids did enjoy playing with this for maybe 30 full minutes before giving up and moving on to their other toys and games. After mixing up the beads and then shifting the circle around we tried so hard to solve it and couldn't lol it's very challenging.

Everyone in my family has tried and none of us can get this, but we also can't do rubiks cubes either so... I'm a teacher and I'm going to take it to school for the next student who has all their work done to play with!

Twist on a classic

The Atomix ball was a lot of fun. I would say be careful when you are twisting it because it can pinch you (especially little fingers). The ball is very light, great to take with you! There are a few different ways to play which is a great idea, it’s not just a solve it once and done, there are other patterns you can go for. If you enjoy rubiks cubes, this is a great option!

This game is a modern take on a Rubix cube. I like that there’s several different ways to enjoy the game. It works great as a fidget toy, too! It’s a great challenge for your mind and the beads also add a tactile sensation. It’s a game for almost everyone who wants to try their hand at puzzle solving and can be picked up at any time.

My 11 year old son thought the Atomix was really fun. He says it is like a Rubix cube, and he really enjoys challenging puzzles. He says that the toy is hard but a lot of fun.

Puzzle Nostalgia Vibes!

In the early 1980s, grandmother gave me a small puzzle ball called "The Orb". I loved solving and resolving this ball! When I saw this puzzle toy, I immediately was transported back to my childhood and memories of my grandma! The styling is different but the puzzle itself and the mechanics are EXACTLY the same as "The Orb". This toy was so much more than a pleasant challenge; it was a sweet trip down memory lane.

Hasbro’s Atomix to me is like the sibling if the rubix cube! Loads of fun but very challenging! Its described as medium difficulty but I think its a bit more than that. A very cool concept and it was super easy to get instructions by just scanning the QR code on the back. 8/10

If you like playing with a Rubik’s cube or sliding puzzle games, this one is for you! It’s a challenging puzzle to play with, but it’s lots of fun. Even sliding the pieces around as a fidget toy is relaxing and fun. My 12 year old picked it up right away and played with it for a while. I recommend this toy because it can keep your hands busy and challenge your mind. Great toy!

This is really fun just to play with without any organized objective. And it worked really well as kind of a fidget toys for people who like to fidget while listening to things. Getting it to line up the way it’s supposed to was a fun challenge and it was a lot like the next generation of a Rubiks cube.

This is a really unique, rubix cube type toy. Both my teens had fun trying to figure it out, as did my husband and I. I think it would be a good toy for many ages.

Perfect for road trips

This is a good toy for a restless child on a long road trip or flight. I don’t believe the younger kids will be able to fully solve the puzzle but it will allow them to pass time and keep their minds and hands occupied. Feels cheaply made and the “balls” don’t rotate properly all of the time

This #HASBRO ATOMIX game in the shape of a sphere looks very easy at first glance, but when you mix all the lines and colors it becomes a great challenge. Because you have to reorder the colors like when you started. (Something very similar to a Rubix cube). Sometimes the little pegs get stuck and you can't turn the dial easily. It's something I didn't like, because it becomes a little more stressful. Very practical because it is small in size and you can take it everywhere. Great for all ages. I received this for free thank you #Influenster.

I was generously gifted Atomix by Hasbro and Influenster in exchange for my honest review and this little hand held puzzle game is just ok. My 18 year old son is a fan of gadgets, gizmos and fidgety things, but wasn’t a huge fan of this one. He says it’s difficult and slow to turn and catches on itself / gets stuck which makes the puzzle tedious to solve. He said it would be cool if it was a faster, smoother rotation, but as-is, it ranks only “fair”.

What a fun handheld game! Along the same lines as a Rubix Cube, this game puts a fun twist on a handheld brain teaser game. Great for lots of ages, from older kids to adults. We had a lot of fun with this even if it could be frustrating for folks like me who aren't necessarily great at these kinds of games. But my young adult kids loved it!

I received this product for free from Influenster and Hasbro in exchange for my honest review. This is a nifty little brain teaser, similar to a Rubix cube. My 10 year old son keeps it in the car to keep him busy on trips. It is well made, and pretty challenging!

Daughter played with it for a few minutes and I know it will never get picked up again. Similar to rubix cube idea. It is easy to shuffle but won’t hold many kids interests long. My 16 year old said no thanks.

My kids love this Atomix. It reminds me of a rubix cube but in a circle. Same kind of process in which you twist, align the matching beads in four rings path in order to solve. Lots of fun.

This is the spherical version of a rubix cube and just as anxiety inducing lol! It's simple to mix up all of the lines and colors but it's a real boondoggle to get them back in line again! Sometimes the little sliding pegs get stuck and you can't spin the sphere like it's supposed to or they get stuck in the track and don't slide as easily. Other than that it is a pretty cool fidget gadget to keep your mind and hands occupied for a while.

This is like a round Rubix Cube. It is a neat concept, and even my kids like to play with it. It can sometimes be hard to line up in order to turn the pieces.

This little ball reminds me of a Rubix cube in that you need to get the colors lined up by rotating them in the right orders, but it is a unique challenge being a sphere, and the rotation of the little balls goes in a snake-like fashion. The reason I gave this four stars instead of five is because the actual rotation of the sections of the sphere is difficult. The little balls get stuck in the way and makes quick movements difficult and frustrating at times. This doesn’t deter my 11 and 12 year olds from sitting with it for long periods of time trying to solve it!

Very challenging, little hard to change tracks, doesn’t slide easily, keeps attention for a very short time. Hard to solve. Similar to a Rubik’s cube. My 11 year old likes the toy but says it’s very challenging. I wouldn’t but this toy or recommend it. Glad we got to try it.

I just received this but since it’s a toy, we were able to open it right up and play with it. It kind of reminds me of a Rubik’s cube. It’s a sphere instead of a cube. U get to mix up all the colors and then try to put them back together. It definitely keeps my child from being on electronics for a while.
