Good, durable, saber to use for swapping parts if you have other lightsaber forge products. On its own, very disappointing that it doesn’t light up and that’s not explicitly clear in the listing. It should be make sure to add in the description that this doesn’t light up or have sound effects like the others in this product line. The kids like it so it gets 3 stars.

This toy is fun for little kids. My kids seem to enjoy it and I have kids of all ages. The lightsaber is very small compared to others. I would say this is great for ages 3-5. It actually folds up and extends better then more expensive ones .

I was not impressed on the immediate view. I thought it doesn't make sounds or light up and I am now thankful that it doesn't. Because my daughter plays with it constantly. She is tickled by it opening and closing. This may be the largest fidget toy she has. The size is perfect for a child so there is less chance of them breaking somethjng.

As a Star Wars fan this was a fun gift to give my 3 year old. She loves the Disney Junior show and was excited to play with the sword. She sleeps with it every night. Be aware that it does not light up or make sounds which is nice compared to most other toy lightsabers.

My youngest has been getting into Star Wars and she has tried using a full length prop saber and she fell in love with it. So this product was the peak of her enjoyment right before her birthday. She's now training with the power within her with her saber. The product is very sturdy for her to play with. She has no issues with using it on her own. I definitely recommend this product to other Jedis in training. :)

The purple really pops as a definitive attractant to younger kiddos. The deployment is easy. Sheathing it requires a pressing down feature that my grandson has been able to do into the floor without causing and flexing or damage. It’s very well made.

The first thing my son asked when he opened up the light saber was “does it light up?” Unfortunately, it doesn’t and it would be so much more fun if it did. My son is having fun swinging it around, but if it lit up or made noise he would have been thrilled.

**Know when you purchase this toy, it does not light up or make sound. It has a decent heaviness base/handle, so my kids like to have it extended and just sitting on their desk. The buttons, are fake... which is another heads up. They truly thought this toy was going to light up and make sounds under their control. If you do not want those things, this is a decently made toy. They have dropped it quite a few times and it is holding up without issue. Getting "attacked, aka hit" with the collapsable portion stings. But that action is expected with it, I guess. In total this toy measures almost 2' fully extended. It also has a thick base, measures about 5 3/4" which is quite thick for a little kid. In my adult hand, I can barely touch my fingers together around the handle. If you know all this \ (btw it does state it on the label)...It has a decent quality material for a 3 star toy, in my opinion.

This is a very nice toy and I think it makes a very nice gift. The extendable lightsaber comes out without any issues. It seems to be made well and will last for a good amount of time. For kids it's fun to play with. Very happy with this product.

This is such a great light saber for a any star wars fan, its lightweight and easy to use. All they have to do is flick their wrist and the saber slides out and you can start fighting with any opponent. This is a great birthday or Christmas gift!!

We got this Star Wars Lys Solay Purple Extendable Lightsaber for our grandkids to play with, it is pretty durable for little kids especially mine since they play rough, and the purple color doesn't matter to our grandson.
