Cool but hard to transform

I gave this Legacy United Thunderton transformer toy to my 8 year old son. He thinks it is so cool. He especially like the sword. However, he is unable to transform the toy by himself because of the wings. The toy seems well made, but I wish it was easier for young kids to manipulate.

As a kid Transformers was one of my favorite cartoons. When they started putting the movies out I started buying them all. However this, this is not fun or exciting at all! This is really hard I have been trying to transform him into the wolf and I am stuck. The directions are not clear. There are no words only pictures that are not clear. I will not purchase any others.

My kids really enjoy this toy!! Its details are super awesome and make it look really cool. The biggest drawback is our complicated the transformation process it. Even for my husband it was a bit tricky. The directions were just pictures and sometimes they didn’t make a ton of sense. I can’t see a kid being able to figure it out easily on their own. But we do enjoy this guy and have fun with him!

My son was over the moon with this toy! He needed a bit of assistance to transform it. Once we helped him, he was hooked and played with it for a good hour or so. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and how well it was packaged. The instructions were fairly clear, but could have been more detailed. Overall, a fantastic toy that brought a big smile to my son's face. The bonus? He absolutely loved the sword that came with it!!!!

TRANSFORMERS prime universe thundertron: it is a two-in-one figure as it goes from a robot to a cybertonian lion by forming it yourself in 24 simple steps, by moving each piece of the robot, its material is of very good quality, it is not fragile at all and You can move each piece without fear of it breaking easily, although for me it is more of a toy to collect.

This toy is so cool, I cannot wait to add it to my son's gifts for Christmas. He is a huge transformers fan (I mean what 8yo little boy isn't). So I know he will be so excited about this 100 year anniversary transformers. I think this is a unique gift, since it's not in the actual transformers stories.

The perfect gift for transformers fans

This is the perfect gift for a Transformers Legacy United fan. The toy is well made and turns into a lion in 24 steps. The box comes with instructions on how to transform the character. The first few times it’s helpful to have the instructions to follow, but after a few times it becomes easy to go back and forth between the two modes. Size is great, and it would look nice on display at a shelf.

I received this product in return for my honest review. This is a decent toy. I think it is a little pricey for the quality of it. A lot of the pieces fall off while you are trying to transform it. The directions are lengthy and hard for me to grasp. So I haven't been able to transform it into the animal Thundertron and neither has my son and we have tried multiple times. It is a neat concept for a toy but, it would be nice if it was made better and easier to manipulate without so many directions. All in all we still have had fun with it but, it could use some improvement.

My 11 years old love transformers!! He was so excited when I took this out of the box! It’s a fun toy and also a good brain development game, it makes him more creative and can express himself being more patient trying to figure out how to transform this robot into something different. The box includes step by step instructions on how to do it. Overall he enjoyed this!

Wowzer. This is a really complicated toy. The directions had 26 steps required to change the toy from a robot to a lion type animal. It was very difficult to to change form.

The toy was enjoyed by my youngest son. It stands at a 5.5 inch (14 cm) tall . The toy can be changed from a rock creature to an offroad vehicle in 10 steps. The figure comes with rock axe and shield accessories.
