Fun new version of Monopoly

This is a fun new version of Monopoly and I've enjoyed teaching my 7 year old how to play. I think the stamps/ cards are kind of pointless because they aren't reuseable, but it's an overall fun game. It's perfect for a rainy afternoon of entertainment. Thank you for this free sample for my honest review.

Super fun twist on a classic!

I really loved playing this travel.version of Monopoly! I grew up playing the original with my cousins and loved it. But playing this version with my kids was super fun and very educational! Loved reading and learning of all the different places around the world a lot I hadn't heard of and now want to visit one day. My kids loved playing it too and now want to travel more too which make me super happy because I loooove to travel! Great job Hasbro!

Fun game!

My 8 year old twins love board games, especially classic Monopoly. I think they like this version even better and I think it’s pretty fun, too! Nice variation of the original game, fun for them to learn about different places. The money is a nice little change too, the little mini card cash is a lot easier for them to handle. All in all I think this is a fun game for kids and adults alike! We love game night in our house and this is now in the rotation! Highly recommend!

Fun for game night

I took this out so my kids and I can play it for game night and it was a bit different from what we're used to seeing on monopoly games. The money is really really small l, we did wish that they were bigger pieces. It has a twist to it which can take some time to get used to.

Cool features

My family loves monopoly and we tend to spend hours playing board games so this was a nice addition. The concept of the board being dry erase is cool to us, especially since we’ve never seen a monopoly like this. The money however is WAY too small and very easy to lose track of. I like that this game has some fun facts and is educational. I do wish it came with more journal cards also because playing with my big family filled them up pretty quickly. All in all we love the concept and idea behind the game and we did still enjoy playing.

We love it!

This is an amazing addition to the monopoly franchise. My kids and I collect monopoly games and this has easily become a favorite. My kids are 8 and 11 and love that they can stamp on the board. The stamps erase extremely easily which actually surprised me. I expected smears to be left but there were none. I do wish the green duck stamp wasn’t lime green but a dark green, to make it easier to see. The game pieces are super adorable but I do wish it had at least 2 more. We also love that the cards we stamp change the game up for future games. The game itself doesn’t take forever to play which for us is great when we don’t have a lot of time to finish a game.

An interesting twist

The Monopoly world tour travel edition gives an interesting twist to what you are used to. The entire board is dry erase with the player pieces being stamps. All the the properties are real places and contain interesting facts about the places you purchase. This is probably the greatest part of this version. The travel cards also contain places to stamp with your pieces, these however are permanent and chance how you play in the future. Which if you are playing with only a couple people at first using a small set of pieces it leaves very little use of the travel cards to any additional players down the road. The other downside is the money.... All of the money is very time cardboard punch out pieces. Be sure to bring baggies to store everything after your first play. I felt like this version had high potential but then fell short in the end.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Fun-ish

My family loves monopoly so we were excited to get to play the Travel World Tour Edition. First off, the money is now tiny chip board tiles. It took a long time to pop them out to even start playing and are a huge pain during transactions to exchange and grip. The other let down is that there are only 4 tokens to play with. I like the concept and creativity but it was executed wrong. The final thing that was annoying was that the travel cards are not dry erase. Which means that you have an advantage selecting certain tokens each time you play moving forward. We still had a lot of fun but it won't be our go to monopoly.
